The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo (HLSR) is an annual event here in Houston; it is a mega fundraiser for scholarships. Within it many events and competitions is the Horticulture Competition Adult Division. This year it was titled 'Dining with a Texas Flair'. I was able to use my parents table setting, it fit perfect with the theme; the spoon and fork were borrowed from the HLSR Horticulture Committee.
In the background is the Reliant Stadium and the Astrodome.
El Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo es un evento anual aqui en Houston; es un evento que reune fondos para becas escolares. Dentro de su eventos y competencias esta la Competencia de Horticultura para Adultos. Este anio fue titulada 'Cenando con un Toque de Texas'. Tuve la oportunidad de usar la vajilla de mis padres, que estuvo perfecta con el tema; la cuchara y el tenedor fueron prestados por el comite de Horticultura. En el fondo se ven el Estadio Reliant y el Astrodome.
This was my first year in this competition and I made it among the Finalists; (I am so happy to see my name on that list). Congratulations to the Winners, Finalists and Everyone who entered the 2012 Horticulture Competition Adult Division.
Este fue mi primer anio el esta competencia y llege a ser una Finalista: (estoy feliz de ver mi nombre en esta lista). Muchas Felicidades a los Ganadores, Finalistas, y a Todos los que participaron en esta Competencia de Horticultura para Adultos 2012.
